Okay, some voice talents think they need a niche demo for every conceivable “type” of voiceover and yes, I’ll gladly supply a category-specific demo on request. For example, “Sportscasters,””reads for Banks,” or “hospital voiceovers” and so on. I’ll be posting more “genre” demos here but better yet, just ask me for a custom audition read of your script or, a sample spot or two I’ve done for a particular product-category or “kind” of read.
Otherwise, feel free to use your imagination and picture the same tone you hear on one of my demo cuts, for your particular script.
My range runs the gamut with a seasoned versatility to “be” whomever your copy needs me to be. From trustworthy advisor to training instructor, “retro announcers” to ring announcers, documentary storyteller to Everyday Joe just talkin’ over the fence, a caring concerned friend, to light conversational straight-announce, you name it. Did we mention seductive romanticism for upscale image…or how ’bout bold edgy attitude for sports and exciting events, quiet intensity…welllll, you get the idea.
Whatever the direction, it’s all about serving the copy and bringing your words to life for the right read that fits your vision.
